As summer approaches, that means it is time to start building your summer wardrobe. Building a closet full of wearable and, most importantly, rewardable styles is the key to easily creating an outfit each morning. I would like to challenge you to consider preparing a capsule wardrobe this summer. This means that your wardrobe items should be versatile and classic. With just a handful of pieces can come endless outfit opportunities, and that is essential in having easy go-to outfits for each day. From simple sundresses to classic linen trousers, you can create the perfect wardrobe for warmer weather with these staple pieces.
Basic Button Downs
A basic button down is always a classy, go-to piece for every season, but it is especially perfect for summer. You can pair it with a simple pair of jeans or shorts for everyday wear or layer it over a classic, everyday sundress. I especially love wearing button downs as a swimsuit coverup, which shows just how versatile this piece can be in your own wardrobe this season. Linen Trousers
Linen trousers have always been a staple in the summer months. Not only do they look chic and elegant, but they are also the perfect light weight pant for those warmer days. You can dress them up with a nice blouse and heels or dress them down with a classic white tee and sneakers. You cannot go wrong with these trousers! Everyday Sundresses
One of the easiest ways to look put together during the summer is simply throwing on an everyday sundress. You can dress them down with a comfortable pair of sneakers or dress them up with a nice pair of sandals or heels. One of the best aspects about a sundress is that you can find them in so many different colors, patters, and styles, making them a perfect staple for anyone’s wardrobe this summer season.
Tailored Shorts
Tailored shorts, much like linen trousers, are the perfect staple shorts when you want to look chic and elegant, but also cool and comfortable. They play perfectly into the quite luxury trend that we have been seeing in celebrity street styles, such as Sofia Richie and Jennifer Lawrence. Classic Vest
